5 Traditional Markets in Central Jakarta Renovated Totally

This year, PD Jaya Market begins to renovate totally 4 traditional markets and 1 folk market in Central Jakarta. It is conducted due to unworthy condition. Even among those market was fire left in 2013 ago. 

The renovation budget is varied, depending on the building model

Manager of Public Relation for PD Jaya Market, Agus Lamun stated, those 4 markets are Jembatan Merah (Mangga Besar), Tanah Abang Bukit, Bendungan Hilir, Block VI and III Senen, and Nangka Bungur. 

" The renovation budget is varied, depending on the building model . Including Bendungan Hilir Market that expends up to Rp 1 trillion," he stated, Thursday (8/13). 

Through Bazis, 2 Underprivileged Residents' Houses Renovated

According to him, especially for folk market, there is a different with common traditional markets. The peddlers are not charged with any building fund. Because the market is for low-class citizens, thus the building concept is in shape of hangar.
